Our staff

We have legal requirements to satisfy and must recruit suitably qualified people to uphold ratios of staff:children however, we take care to really get to know ‘the person’ and attentively select the individual who will want to be part of our team.

We look for a unique blend… a team of people who are as diverse as our practice. From the young to the more mature, we are committed, suitably qualified and trained to nurture, encourage growth, inform learning and development and we truly care about and love the children and families who attends our Nursery.

Elodie, our Director and Manager is a qualified French Teacher with over 18 years’ experience in teaching in Early Years settings. Elodie has been working at London Organics for over 4 years. On top of the daily running of the nursery, Elodie is hands on in classrooms too sharing her time between the Ladybird and the Bumble Rooms.

Kelly is our Deputy Manager. She is a qualified Nursery Practitioner with over 27 years of experience in Early Years, 20 of which she has spent at Shepperton Organic Day Nursery:)Kelly is in charge of the Pre-Schoolers in Butterfly Room and assists Elodie in the daily running of the nursery.

Jo is our Duty Manager . She is a Montessori qualified Early Years Educator with 18 years’ experience. Jo is the nursery’s SENCO and has worked to support children with a range of additional needs. She is in charge of the toddlers in our  Bumble Bee Room and also assists Elodie in the daily running of the nursery.

Lara is our full time Practitioner and is based in the Ladybird Room. She is currently training towards her Level 3 with Elodie being her on site tutor. She has been working with us for over 4 years and is in charge of the Baby Room under Elodie’s supervision.

Paige is our Part Time practitioner and is mainly based in the Butterfly Room, assisting Kelly with the Pre-Schoolers. Paige also assists Jo in the Bumble Room on certain days.

Lola is our Apprentice. She is currently working towards her Level 2 in Childcare with Jo being her on site tutors. Lola mainly works in the Ladybird Room.

Olivia  is our student doing her work permanent with us up until July 2024 when she will be qualified at Level 3 in Childcare. She is assisting our Nursery Practitioners and is currently floating in rooms, assisting us all in delivering the best childcare experience to our lovely children. Olivia is mainly based in our Bumble Bee Room  assisting Jo and Elodie.

We also have other regular bank staff who helps us on a daily basis and are making a great addition to our wonderful team!

Aaron is our experienced chef who cooks delicious and nutritious organic meals daily in our 5-star kitchen. He is also very well appreciated by our lovely children who always look forward to him delivering the food throughout the day:)
